Candy Shack Beauty based in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire are a fully trained, certified and insured company specialiseing in Eyebrow Microblading / Tattooing / Semi Permanent Makeup.
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo in the brow that is applied by hand (no machine). Safe, plant based pigments are deposited into the very outer layer of skin with very small, individual, feathered strokes that perfectly mimic eyebrow hair. The result is a very natural looking, well shaped, fuller brow that you won’t have to fill in with cosmetics everyday.
The Microblading procedure is semi-permanent, so it will typically last up to 12 months sometimes longer. everyone is unique and the qualities of each individual’s skin and lifestyles are diffrent so we are unable to guarantee how long your results will last. most people need touch ups every 6-24 months.
Here at Candy Shack Beauty the procedure is done using a hand Microblading tool, each time we use a prepackaged, sterile, single use “blade” which is made up of lots of needles that are 3x smaller than the needles used in a tattoo machines. when we apply a appropriate amount of pressure the skin is scored and the pigment is deposited into the epidermis (outer layer of skin).
Your first appointment will take between 80-100 minutes, as we take plenty of time to assure that we have created the shape and look you desire before we perform the treatment. Your second appointment is then done around 4 weeks later this is a touch up and will be between 40-70 minutes.
Every person is different and has a different pain threshold. Like with a tattoo everyone gives very different feedback, some people say it is relaxing, others say it feels slightly uncomfortable and is similar to having an eyebrow threading treatment. We can if requested use a topical numbing cream and apply this 15 minutes prior to beginning the treatment, we can also then top this up halfway through to ensure you are comfortable (this would need to be discussed in advanced as the cream can be expensive and must be purchased in advance).
Once your treatment is completed your brow area may appear red and the colour itself may seem darker than you thought it would be this will settle down after a few days. The healing process takes around 1-2 weeks and the colour will slowly fade to a softer, more natural shade, but dont worry they will not be unpresentable.
The 4 week second treatment is to touch up and darken any strokes that need doing and also correct any small imperfections that can come as result of healing.
As often as you would like, as long as 21 days has passed since your last appointment. You most likely won’t want or need a touch up for least 6 months. however we do recommend an annual touch up to keep your brows looking amazing.
We work with you to chose the shape of your brows together. Whether you are just looking to enhance the fullness of your natural brows, or create a whole new shape, Your new shape will be applied with a cosmetic pencil first so that you can see how it will look, we only start the treatment once you are happy to proceed.
No, not at all, Candy Shack Beauty do the treatment by individual strokes which are made to closely mimic natural brow hair.
Overtime yes, because the pigments used in the service are semi-permanent, unlike tattoo ink they will fade. As your brows fade, they will look soft and natural and because the pigment is only placed in the outermost layer of skin the pigment will not bleed outside of the exact place that it was deposited. This means no blurry funny coloured brows.
